Mansion Wedding Venue in Dallas, TX

We’re Barry and Connie, the owners of a mansion wedding venue in Dallas – The Pearl at Sabine Creek.

Barry and I met at a California wedding back in 1986. My boss told me not to bring a date to his wedding because he wanted me to meet one of his friends. I’m glad I listened because we’ve been going strong for over 30 years! Barry has worked in sales for our entire life together. I was blessed with being able to stay at home with our two wonderful, now-grown children: Daniel the doctor and Breanna the music teacher/singer-songwriter. During their school years, I served on PTAs, booster clubs, boards, and councils. Each of these commitments required events and programs to be planned and completed. I enjoyed them immensely and when the kids graduated and left the nest, this mama bird struggled with what she should do with her life. Since I loved planning events, God provided me with an opportunity of a job as a wedding coordinator for a venue. Loving what I did and assisting some of my kids’ friends with their weddings, I realized that this was what I wanted to keep on doing with my time. Barry had assisted me on some weddings as well and seeing the need and my joy in my work, he said, “We can do this, let’s build a wedding venue of our own.” We prayed for direction, Barry put together the business plan, resigned from his job of 24 years, and here we are stepping out in faith that God will show us favor in our new venture.

Our dream of owning a wedding venue has become a reality and we give thanks to God for all that we have because He made it possible. Our prayer is to honor Him by loving & serving you to the best of our ability.
